Assess and monitor the risk of the EDEN by Basecamp Research connector in Anthropic Claude, OpenAI Codex, and Microsoft Copilot.
Design antibiotics and prioritise vaccine targets against drug-resistant pathogens using EDEN, Basecamp Research's biological foundation model.
Viewing Details For
EDEN is Basecamp Research's frontier biological foundation model, trained on BaseData — the world's largest biological dataset, encompassing over 10 billion novel genes from more than a million species collected across 200+ sampling expeditions in 30+ countries. This connector gives Claude access to two EDEN capabilities: Antibiotic design (EDEN-AMP): Generate novel antimicrobial peptide candidates with predicted potency against 11 drug-resistant bacterial strains, including MRSA, Acinetobacter baumannii, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. 97% of EDEN-designed AMPs are active in the lab; one candidate showed efficacy in mice comparable to last-resort antibiotics. Vaccine target prioritisation (EDEN-Immunogenicity): Predict the probability that a protein-coding antigen will trigger an immune response, using EDEN embeddings with AUROC 0.85 on external validation data. Reduces weeks of empirical target selection to a single workflow. Every BaseData sequence is collected under informed-consent and benefit-sharing agreements, with each sequence traceable to country-specific collection permits. For research use only.
